Well, if, you have new on WordPress or you just install the WordPress for your website then there are 04 Basic Settings of WordPress that need to be done for a professional website.
- Clean your dashboard by deselecting the unwanted notification.
- Delete the Sample page & Post page also
- Set the Site Title, Membership, Time Zone & Tag line from General settings
- Select the Permalinks as post name under General Settings
